Gibson truly is a treasure, and he really was seeking to open peoples eyes long before many others. I just watched this movie for the first time since I was a kid and it is brilliant. The amount of times you think: wow, when his character says something is many.
A true treasure. No wonder he needed to be diminished by the powers that be.
