"18 Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion."
Ecclesiastes 5:18
God gives good gives to his children. In fact he causes to rain to fall on the just and the unjust as well. There are some Christians who feel guilty that they have more, that disdain their gifts. But God wants us to be filled with joy.
So enjoy what you have, and be generous and share it with others. But don't scorn the good things God gives us, and don't forget they are a gift:
"19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God" (Ecc. 5:19).
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, as Job said. Enjoy what God has given you, for the time he has given it.
